Giovanni Morassutti attended the three year program at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, the oldest film school in Western Europe. For that three year program in film acting (2004 -2007) a thousand people applied and the school selected only 16 actors . His teacher included Lina Wertmuller, Paolo Sorrentino, and Giancarlo Giannini among others.
